Expecting? 2 Interior Painting Projects to Get Done Before the Due Date
If you are expecting a baby, you know that life is about to change. Everyone tells you so, and even if you’ve already experienced the wonder of bringing home a baby, adding another one into the mix changes things. There is always a long list of things to do to get ready for your little miracle, but we suggest letting someone else tackle these interior painting projects.
You may think you have enough time to handle the interior painting you want to get done, but don’t underestimate how busy you will soon be. Most parents-to-be have to assemble cribs, changing tables, and other must-haves, attend birthing classes, arrange childcare for older children, and make sure diapers, wipes, and clothing is well-stocked. Oh, and by the way, you won’t sleep much for the next 6 months so try to get some rest! The only way you can get it all done is by delegating some tasks to other people. And while they say paint fumes are okay for expecting mothers, we suggest you just let us tackle these 2 projects that will make you feel more ready for your baby’s arrival.
- The nursery. Of course, you want your precious bundle of joy to have their own space to call their own. Even if baby sleeps in a parent’s room the first few months of life, it’s nice to have room to put all the clothes, change diapers, and have a crib for daytime naps. Whether you pick a lively primary color or a calming pastel, we can get that room painted quickly so you can start to get the rest of the room arranged and ready.
- Your living space. No one really tells you this, but you’ll be spending a lot of time in your living room or family room. When you have a newborn, there’s a lot of sitting involved. Feedings, at all hours of the day and night, require parents to just sit and try to enjoy the time with their little one. We suggest parents give their living room a little facelift so they love being in that room, even during the hard moments, like when the baby is wide awake in the middle of the night or is screaming from colic. Paint your living space a peaceful, serene color that is welcoming and calming.
